KD Angle is a successful market trader and investment strategy designer with experience in both futures and stocks. He started his trading career in 1979 during the last great inflationary period of the late 1970’s. Some of his accomplishments include: 1). Starting his own market letter which gave specific trading advice in the early 80’s and was reported in Forbes Magazine as being the best ranked market newsletter in its class for 1986 and 1987. His publication peaked with subscribers in eight countries. 2). In the 1990s, KD began managing money using his own rules based strategies and later went on to earn more than 150 performance awards from a respected performance reporting company known as BarclayHedge over the next 20 years. He retired that career after managing assets of up to 200 million dollars but continues to trade his own capital. 3). Angle has been featured as an expert in his field in two books. One published earlier in his career known as the ‘Four Cardinal Principles of Trading’ written by Bruce Babcock published in 1996, with the second book more recently published known as ‘The Mental Edge in Trading’ written by Jason Williams MD, published in 2012. 4). Angle became interested in the markets after watching his father turn 2 million dollars into 100 million dollars in the great gold bull market of 1979 and wrote a book to memorialize that experience entitled ‘100 Million Dollars In Profits’. KD has had several articles published in Stocks and Commodities Magazine and was featured after the liquidity crisis of 2008 and as a top trader in Futures Magazine. He was a Keynote speaker for the annual conference in New York held by the Chartered Market Technician Association in 2015. 5).
